Yh, that's not a good look - particularly the last two paragraphs.
Totally confused by this.

Reform fury as someone else wins by Our By-election Editor Tim Shipsink The losing candidate in the Gorton and Denton by-election, Matt Goodwhinge, has demanded an immediate re-run of the election on the grounds that he lost comprehensively to someone else. "It's totally unfair and rigged," said Goodwhinge. "I shouldn't be required to sit there and suck it up, just because I lost." Mr Goodwhine continued, *I can't believe that all those voters I demonised failed to back me. Especially after I was endorsed by Tommy Robinson and ten million Russian bots on X. "We have clear evidence of family voting, where people voted in order for me to stop deporting their families." Mr Badloser concluded. "I'm the victim of colour prejudice. They didn't vote for me simply because I'm not green." Reform leader Mr Farage, speaking from a sun lounger on a rock near the Chagos Islands said, "It's a tragedy that the people of Manchester won't see Matt in Westminster, but my constituents don't see me in Clacton either." It was thanks to this article I found out that the Paulette Goddard Professor of Nutrition, Food Studies, and Public Health (Emerita) at New York University is Marion Nestle - who is completely unrelated to the food company NestlΓ©. Had to stop and check this halfway through the article.

Equality and the protection of rights is not a zero sum gain. In fact, everyone gains.
As I said in response to a post on a different topic yesterday - in capitalsim everything has a price. The protection of human lives is too expensive for the chemical industry. Which is why regulation is needed. And that's the job of governments - responsible ones, anyway.
Right-wing press seem very concerned that the UK is not "unquestionably subservient to a mad American president".
Strange - thought they were all for us 'taking back control'.
That's patriotism for you.

Science IRL is not as it's taught in schools and as presented in popular media - with scientists finding out about what's happening in their field by reading peer reviewed papers and nothing else. The social processes involved in making scientific truth have to be understood.

The antidote to the incessant propaganda wheel (WH & the likes of Kennedy et al.) is to form your own damn independent advisory group.
The Independent Autism Coordinating Committee (I-ACC) includes autism researchers, also 2 former NIH directors who study autism for a living.
