Speaking of misinformation, Axios and The Star Tribune are both trying to convince everyone today that the Target boycott is suddenly and very magically over. Um… No it’s not. Nice try though. Ask Minnesotans how we feel about Target right about now. Go ahead. I’ll wait.

And yes, when I catch them doing this, they get unfollowed. Their credibility takes a big hit and I don’t trust them anymore.

I’ve caught multiple Bluesky “independent reporter” accounts spreading misinformation the last 24 hours, so here’s a reminder that the left isn’t immune to lazy or sensationalist reporting. Use your critical thinking skills, fact check if something sounds fishy, and look at context. Don’t be fooled.

Yes they did and that contributed to our leaving. The church chose a side. It was obvious.

I can’t believe how bad these guys are. It’s just… unspeakable, and of course they “represent the church,” but I guess they’re not besmirching the “good name.” Anti-semitism and racism are fine. History and academics and questioning doctrine? Not so much.

Thinking for no reason about the last time I spoke to my father, about 2 years ago during my mom’s end of life conversation, when he told me he voted for Tr*mp again because of the economy. I wonder how he’s feeling now. He doesn’t ever apologize or admit he’s wrong, so I’ll probably never know.

We have a stepladder and I usually send hubs up there. We keep stuff we only use occasionally in the top cupboards, but yeah. It’s ridiculous.

Teen just started collecting “hard media,” so he’s really into vinyl and CDs right now, which is funny to me. I still have all of my CD collection, which is vast because I managed a music store in HS and summers home from college. He also just inherited his grandpa’s 60s vinyl. He’s having a blast.
