Anyway, please buy my books. I have expensive hobbies and love bougie dairy.

THEY SING!
LOVE THEM!
This might be a lot of fun, but I just found out I'm doing inflammation in one eye post surgery, so maybe not yet?
Your eye for color stands out in your photos!
Oh, Seanan. :(
They owe you SO many pints of blueberries. π«
Virtual hugs, if they can help. You were a queen. I'm so sorry. π₯Ί
(Asking to speak to the manager, ARGH, you hate to do that to a bookstore because you don't know who was/wasn't part of the problem--aaarrrgh. Yes--bully energy.)
Same. Mo said it for so many of us, as creators, and as users of tech.
Steve rocks on every level. :)
This is the thing that authors have been watching for.
YES!
I had appts this morning, but was about to write a "permission denied" letter to them. π
"who IS not"
Can you tell I was angry and did this in a hurry because WORK, it's Wednesday etc.?
Also blocking anything with "Superhuman" in it.
An excellent idea. I've written to them too.
"People used to be excited about tech, now they dread what data you're going to steal next, they dread what violation of privacy or the environment will turn up next."

I'm blocking Grammarly on social media.
A photo of the Chicago skyline at night with a tangle of bright lighting lignite gap the night sky during a thunderstorm
Boom! Had a great ight show over the skyline tonight. Hereβs my first big lightning shot of the season.
This is a 2-frame composite. Best as I can tell, two large, branching bolts struck the eastern antenna mast of the Hancock. #wxsky #ilwx
Ooh:
It looks photoshopped, doesn't it? Now we'd say AI. Like he's floating on the photo.
BEFORE THERE WERE LIGHTS
When I was a kid, my favorite nights in New York were when the summer was hot and the mystery of black outs and brown outs happened. The city looked different when the lights went out. Mysterious.

Hope the weather moves past and you can get some rest.
I don't quote it, but life offers a lot of examples of trying to get objects in and out of places. And getting them halfway there, and suddenly there's no way to get them in or out.
Which has to be impossible, and yet here we are. :)
It's the "watching thirty cars at once" part that is truly terrifying. . . .
Hope the scary stuff has broken up into gentle rain. Stay safe out there!
Well damn. π€
Burrowing owl peeking out from behind a mound of dirt.
Good morning! πͺΆ

Seeing a lot of my favorite authors/books/series here. So I'll just leave you with mine. The other world SF and alt early 19th century pioneer American books have strong world building & characters in common.
The NIGHT CALLS books, and the Chronicles of Nuala.
Take a look at the wide variety of powerful women in my books! Ruby Barkley. Linda Coates. Justine Martiniere. Yesenia Cruz. Melanie Landreth-Fielding. Bess Fielding. Alicira. Inharise. Katerin. Rekare. Betsona. Just a few of the women in my work.

Whoa.
I was just going to keep wearing respirators.
I am glad you are having so much fun with the fruit course! Wish you could do this for me.
I can say from living in rural America for a few years that a ton of his voters are also mail-in voters. He doesn't seem to understand that at all?
It's like wanting to stiff CA on FEMA help, and then finding out Orange County had more GOP than several states. Took his staff a while to get through.
Honestly, I didn't realize that they had a liquor license.
I thought they were the premier grab-N-go wings stop, full stop.
. . . o-kay. . . .
Not sure I'm a savory cocktail person, although I applaud getting enough protein. . . .

That is such a sadness.
Lee was a force of nature, and I'm very sad to hear she has Gone Ahead. Safe journey to her. I have no doubt she will find the next bonfire and share many stories and songs with all the creatives who are already there.
