It was. I didn’t know about the other songs either. Another song my son loved at the time was Ricky Martin’s Livin La Vida Loca. He adored it. I remember it being played at a family party & my cousin’s granddaughters dancing nicely to it with my son going nuts & doing knee skids in the background 😆

Now those I remember! The New Radicals song I remember because my son was coming up to six at the time and he LOVED that song. To this day we call the bucket hat the singer wore a ‘new radicals hat’ but that song has happy memories attached to it for us because my boy loved it so much 😊

Agreed. The scenes with the miners vs police were filmed near to where I lived at the time. The police charging down the alley was filmed behind my house (my dog would go berserk barking every time they charged down) & the colliery gates scene was actually where my FIL had his allotment at the time

The amount of people who continue to think that my husband is a leap year baby is astonishing. The biggest give away is the fact he was born in a year which ends in an odd number. Every single year he’ll get at least one message wishing him HB “for tomorrow” on his actual birthday! 🤨

She adores my husband and they share such a great sense of humour. We won’t be grandparents as youngest doesn’t want kids (and we respect that) but seeing them together makes me think that in another universe he’d be a fantastic grandad. He’s happy being a cool great uncle instead 😊

Have spent a very entertaining hour or so in the company of my sister in law, our nephew and our two great nieces. Youngest great niece is absolutely hilarious and she’s only four 😁😆
