A proud moment today as the Government launches the new England National Cancer Plan.
I’ve long campaigned for a travel fund for children and young people with cancer, so it’s encouraging to see this included thanks to charities and families.
The plan delivers real change.

Hundreds of residents from Putney and Roehampton came together at Hammersmith Bridge to demand progress after nearly seven years of closure.

I met with the Royal Marines, who showcased their kit and briefed me on the growing Russian threat in the Arctic and North Atlantic. There are real risks to our national security and global stability. (1/2)

Putney and Roehampton turned out in force to my event today to say ‘Reopen Hammersmith Bridge’ - it affects us every day.
6 bus routes closed, people cut off from hospitals, schools and work.
After nearly 7 years, enough is enough.

A sanctions regime with real teeth is vital to closing loopholes that fund Putin’s illegal war and to ensure seized assets can be used to help rebuild Ukraine, now and in the future.

In Parliament, I pressed the Foreign Secretary on the devastating conflict in Sudan.
The UK must do more to push for a humanitarian truce, prevent further atrocities, and support Sudanese civil society, with women’s voices part of any lasting peace.

Poverty reduction and the SDGs must be central, working with local organisations who know best.
Groups like Bond play a vital role in delivering lasting change across Africa.

Too many people have services charges that are too high and not explained, leaving leaseholders and renters helpless.
