And unfortunately Mission Bay transit is getting worse. Routes 8 and 35 had secret service cuts during the January service change. MTS used its ambiguous “schedule adjustments” language, which it hasn’t done before. Happened to several other routes. I made a spreadsheet of them, will post it later.

ok in seriousness:
1. it's going to take 2wks for an MEU to even get to the strait
2. the assault component of an MEU is like, 1200 men. any attack on the iranian mainland would be suicide. They could maybe take one of the small islands? not Qeshm tho.
3. the MEU will eat UAVs all day if we do this
They can't even amphibiously land unopposed on the beach in San Onofre in calm seas without accidently killing a dozen or so guys, surely they're just going to put them in barracks somewhere where they can be sitting ducks rather than sending those duckies ashore.
