Last week we were in Mainz, Germany, at the DPG SAMOP tradeshow. ICYMI, today, we're at the DPG Spring Meeting of the Condensed Matter Section (SKM), exhibiting a full range of products, including new aluminum kinematic mounts, wavelength meter, & diode/QCL driver with TEC controller at Booths 6&7.
Director of Photonics Education a role centered on expanding access to hands‑on optics training nationwide. Her commitment to hands‑on experimentation would expand photonics access for students and ignite the next generation of optical engineers visiting our Mobile Photonics Lab. (When we give women opportunity, we gain entire fields of innovation.)

Dr. Elmer Samuel Imes (1883–1941) was a pioneering physicist. His work in quantum theory helped expand opportunities for future scientists. He became the second Black American to earn a PhD in physics in 1918. His work continues to influence today’s photonics industry.
