@838carlisle.bsky.social please dont invoke Pablo's name, he's like handyman. Say his name and he's gonna start showing up whether you like it or not ๐
I can hear this picture
Stop talking about how there's always news after a pod drops, please.
Also, Carter getting ahead of this by saying selling players for money is a measure of success and also gleefully teasing news is kind of diabolical and I'm not sure how I feel about it.
Can't argue with that. I called my cat several worse things this morning
@838carlisle.bsky.social bro you cant just call peoples pets "creatures" ๐๐๐๐๐ im crying
I always think "this is the time I will see an improvement in my canva skills."
Been thinking that for a decade
Top 10 spirit moment all time imo
More reasons to question Hayes' leadership
I think id be okay never hearing the national anthem again, actually
What are the odds that during this AFC championship broadcast from Mile High Stadium on CBS we see an NWSL ad for the Denver Summit home opener on CBS at Mile High Stadium?
Ooooo I like that. We have Big Damn Hero. Can also have Human Eraser
Hahahahaha I know, i know.
I do think that one should be changed for next year to "defensive performance".
Makes it to where it could be a single clutch moment/play, but also where, like this, if someone just absolutely erases a star player, that overall performance can be recognized.
Which is why Gabby's performance against her in April should have been the @heyspirits.bsky.social defensive play of the year!!!! #JusticeForGabby
Trin is serving up assists on a platter and these children can't finish
Julie Foudy's consistency with telling the worst anecdotes you've ever heard is borderline impressive, tbh
@robertmays.bsky.social dropping a Crashmore reference on the Athletic football show today
Sports betting is truly going to be the downfall of our society
At Sports Reference we have taken great pride in the role FBref has played over the last seven years as an expansive source for soccer fans all over the world. Unfortunately, last week the provider of our advanced soccer data sent us a letter terminating our access to their data feeds and requiring the deletion of their data from the site immediately. As a result, we have removed the provider's data from FBref and Stathead in compliance with their demand. The data provider has asserted that our use of the data violated our agreement. Their demand came unexpectedly despite our long-standing and good-faith operation of FBref and Stathead. We have operated the sites in a consistent manner from their creation (well before the signing of this agreement) through today, and we have always welcomed open and frank discussions about how the sites operate. Any effort to retain access to this advanced data would have been costly and uncertain. Under the circumstances, we have decided to comply with the termination notice. This creates a significant gap in the stats offered on FBref and Stathead. We are heartbroken both for our users who have come to rely upon this product and for our team that has spent thousands of hours bringing these stats to life and supporting our users. We are especially upset by the massive step back this creates in access for women's advanced soccer data. Data Democratization is a core Sports Reference value and the removal of this data is a sad day for all of us. We will take time to assess possible paths forward. FBref will continue to present the deep historic basic data we have for over one hundred competitions, but if we present advanced data in the future it will certainly have a dramatically smaller scale.
Utterly disastrous news for public access to soccer data and statistics.

The team with more experience was able to pull it out in the end. The Rams have a coach and QB who both know how to win in the playoffs and win super bowls.
For the first time in my life I think my team has a coach and a QB who can actually learn how to do that. What a special feeling.
I went from being a fan of a pathetic, unwatchable team to a fan of a team who has:
A top head coach
A high-ceiling defense
Endlessly rewatchable moments
One of the most exciting QBs in the league who is unashamedly himself and does not conform to hyper-masculine gender roles
I love the Bears.
Go Hawks lol
Best Bears season i have ever watched. Lots of reason for hope. I love this team.
This game is awesome
Thats the best 7 yard catch I have ever seen
Great camera work on that FG
WHOSE DEFENSE IS THIS
