Perhaps there's an astral explanation; it's so out of character.

Being a con-man who specifically fleeced women is quite a big 'all', too. Not a good look for those dismissive of it, especially if coupled with other misogynist views.

Would it also be possible as well that the roof is intentionally a little weaker precisely to mitigate the risk of explosion to surroundings by directing it upward, like a blow out panel on a tank?
(I have literally no special knowledge here, but seems like it'd be sensible)

This should be simple stuff that ordinary people can do almost on a whim. It shouldn't need mounds of price and travel research and sucking of teeth at prices. People used to be able to just do shit. Just factor after sclerotic factor fucking everything.
As you were.

Made the mistake of looking at a little day out by rail. Good advance notice. Fuck me, the prices are still arse. And they're different every fucking hour. I just want to see a museum and potter around the sites for a bit; shouldn't be such a fucking stretch. 40-50 quid before even paying an entry.

Tsk, as is well known Churchill wore an Adrian helmet. I suspect this to be a confected image.

It's political mammaries of Polanski's past career that are at issue.

The only people who could stop Trump from launching nuclear missiles wear shoes like these.

Handy excuse to damage credibility, on top of whatever the initial shenanigans might have been.

Yeah, America isn't having free and fair elections again is it?

Before you criticise Marco Rubio, walk a mile in his shoes. They might fit you better.

Also had similar experience with books in a way: several orders from Italy, accepted, Amazon vouchers or whatever taken, delivery promised in x months then, at the last moment, cancelled. Book still listed as available.
I wonder if there's a scam somehow, rather than them just being shits.

having to get Abe involved to avoid bad buyer karma.
Apparently they can do this - i.e. list false delivery charges - as long as you subsequently agree. Seems fucking iffy.

I had similar with a French bookshop* on AbeBooks. Tried to add 30 quid postage because of Brexit or somesuch, even though the original postage was listed as to UK. And they changed charge before clarifying rather than after, so it led to a 1 month email exchange with me eventually

I understand what he's trying to convey, but not quite sure how I do. That's been through some rewrites and then the fuckit button was pressed.

Forgotten and now remembered, with thee usual disquiet. Even at the time that was weird noises territory; the zoom-out almost demands an incoming SS-20. If Threads were broadcast on a huge wheeled-in telly...

Putin's wars are all wars of choice, pursued for imperialist restoration, out of a position of strength and expected impunity. One of Russia's greatest propaganda achievements convincing the bulk of American pundits and IR folks that it fights out of fear, humiliation, and prevention.

Any country that still has an approval figure in double digits from this traitorous, criminal shit, especially when it begins with a fucking 3 or above, is in serious trouble waaaaay beyond that one man. He's a symptom, not the cause.
