Before this, I’d never really used social media. But after such an unforgettable experience, I knew I wanted to start sharing and connecting. This very picture marks a big moment for me — it’s the first artwork of my sona, and the first step on this new journey.

What I found was warmth, creativity, and a sense of belonging I didn’t know I was missing. That weekend turned me into a furry (yep, officially uwu), and I quickly realized: I need more of this in my life. Every weekend, if possible.

I almost didn’t attend The BFD, a furry convention that ended up changing my life. On June 15th, 2024, I had my very first encounter with the furry community and the LGBTQ+ world — and it was a total culture shock in the best possible way.
