It really was! In the small town where I first did that job, we still had ultra dusty liquor from the 1960s (schnapps and vermouth mostly) in the basement at the pharmacy, because they were selling liquor up through the 1970s!

I don't know how it works in Minnesota, but in Wisconsin that is how they got around the liquor licensing laws. But to we had to prescription label every can in a six pack, for example. Then they could dispense it as medication.

When I was a pharmacy technician doing long-term care meds, every once in a while we would get a prescription for beer or a small bottle of brandy, because the only way they could have alcohol was by prescription! It was literally my job to buy alcohol underage, a couple times!

I have two really nice handmade baskets, the first we bought at a flea market on our honeymoon almost 20 years ago and it's still perfect. It's a rotating, lazy susan basket that I use for my most used hand cream / skin care/ tweezers etc.
It's really sad to me that there aren't any basic woodworking or home repair classes in North, I would be interested in woodworking classes! What I really want to do, though, is try stained glass, or a lapidary class, but we will never see that up here.
I really do wish I could swing that basket weaving class though, I don't have any sturdy baskets with handles and I need one!

I looked at the community education catalog for North and there is exactly one thing I really want to do in the whole thing, and I can actually walk to it, but it's $100. I'm not even letting myself look at the variety the rest of Minneapolis gets. I know it will just make me angry.
