ICE sent Maryland detainees to Arizona before congressional oversight visit For months, the overcrowded, bleak conditions on the sixth floor of the George H. Fallon Federal Building have drawn attention from Maryland lawmakers, a federal judge and the stateโ€™s top prosecutor.

NEW: When Maryland's congressional delegation visited ICE's overcrowded holding rooms in downtown Baltimore Monday, they found the place unexpectedly empty.

What happened to all the people being held there? We figured it out.

The federal government isn't supposed to detain immigrant children for longer than 20 days.

But when a Russian asylum seeker with 5-year-old twins asked why they'd been held for longer, an ICE officer falsely claimed the 20-day rule had been voided.

Says who? he asked.

"Trump," ICE responded.

I showed Claude the raw data from my running watch and asked it to critique my training. It told me all the stuff I already knew I was doing wrong, which was extremely rude and unhelpful.

He was arrested over bogus drug tests. Now he's suing. Greenwood County Sheriff's deputies were convinced Bryan Getchius' prescription pills were fentanyl based on notoriously unreliable field tests.

ICYMI: Last month I wrote about a guy who got arrested based on notoriously unreliable roadside drug tests that flagged his prescription IBS pills as fentanyl.

This week he filed a civil rights lawsuit against the sheriff's office reason.com/2026/03/11/h...

I gotta know more here. Did the cops witness a hand-to-hand bean deal and get confused? Did they test the beans or just eyeball them? How many officers did it take to incorrectly identify dried beans?
