Well only one driver was killed driving a V10.
Well only one driver was killed driving a V10.
They measure time and distance in a race is measured by time
I noticed that but my thoughts got lost in the myriad of other happenings. I want to see the times to the thousandth of a second. I quite often keep an eye on some of the gaps if I think something might develop from it and when it's 3 decimal places the times change more fluidly.
Well if the Ayatollah didn't have the cash for a couple of decent assassins, we'd all chip in to a Go Fund Me.
Some two bit South African celebrity whose name I don't recall. Boasting how she came 5th in some beauty poll or something. I replied was that 5th in your street? And like magic she just disappeared from my feed.
And not even a consoling hug from Anthony Hamilton. Tough.
Or alternatively give them more turbo power. Use the battery power to accelerate out of the corners and then have enough turbo power to carry on accelerating.
Maybe the real solution is for the teams to see if they've still got some 3.5L V10's still sitting out back
Maybe (and I really don't know what I'm talking about here) because they have turbos. They can increase the turbo boost to give a bit more initial oomph and then gradual battery deployment (and flippity flip wings) will help carry the inertia down the starights
It's like he's got a mental age of 11
This has to be fake. He's telling the truth.
In fairness Ferrari were championship contenders in 1990 and Williams were uppish midfield so there was rationale behind his decision.
Saying that he left many happy memories for those of us around at the time
He was the champion of bad timing. Joined Ferrari as they hit their worst slump then left as they were on the brink of recovery and joined Benetton who were starting their descent to mediocrity.Obviously stood no chance at Sauber and then got to Jordan as they were just past being a competitive team
It may be good fortune we miss the Saudi #F1 race. I hate to think of the catastrophe awaiting with the potential speed differentials and the many high speed blind corners
I guess we'll have to see how it plays out and how the cars and drivers manage to optimise the tools at their disposal. I think a quick fix would be to limit the electric deployment rate so at least there's enough juice to get to the end of the acceleration zone.
Considering she was presumably hired soley for her genetic characteristics I think she does a pretty good job. She can still fuck off to hell though.
Surely a NA motor could do just as well. Feels the turbo is just adding unnecessary complication without actually providing much.
Trying to get my head around how in 1986 #F1 had 1.5L turbos that had so much power the chassis and driver could barely handle it. Now 40 years later we have 1.6L turbos that need an electric motor to do a decent speed for half a straight.
Iβve only had the misfortune of seeing clips of his show in other peopleβs videos. From those snippets he comes across as ill-educated, biased, and very comfortable spreading the idea of βbrosuperiorityβ.
Is there anything the Scots don't claim to have invented?
And wherever he goes he always manages to crash into Gasly.
So we might see lots of easy depleted power passes but none actually hard fought for overtakes
I'm keeping an open mind to see how things pan out over a few races. What I fear is an end to close slipstreaming as you have no idea when the car in front will suddenly slow in the middle of a straight and help launch you into a sub orbital trajectory.
I did quite enjoy the Grand Prix. I do worry about the sudden speed differentials though. Sooner or later there's going to be a plane crash sized accident. Not sure what a solution would be. Maybe reducing the electric deployment rate so it will last the length of the straights. #f1
Right, off to the quarry for you to break some rocks.
Same goes for caps lock. Obviously.
Can we eradicate the explanation mark. Or at least condemn anyone using it to 25 years hard labour.
Good riddance
I was fortunate to have 20 years of Murray and 12 years of that alongside James Hunt. Alex Jacques IMHO is the best lead F1 commentator since Walker. I do like Martin Brundle but he gets paired with too many cockwombles.
It's the first competitive session of the new regs at least give it some time
