They made them take down the videos because they would cause "reputational damage" to people like this young man, Nathan Cavanuagh, so definitely don't post this all over the internet with the name Nathan Cavanaugh attached, or this guy might suffer reputational damage. This guy, Nathan Cavanaugh.

Every time I call my rep @chu.house.gov (which is like twice a week) I hope to hear something like this from her staffers but I never do.

Maybe if Dems were a little more convincingly against what’s going on, it would fortify the media.

Maybe if Dems were promising to punish the bejeezus out of the Trump admin, it would cause people to think twice.

Maybe if killing Iranians weren’t natural viagra for Schumer.

Every Dem should be (1) doing whatever they can to impeach and (2) doing whatever they can to stop funding the war at all.

It’s just words not least because of how many of the Dem caucus are absolutely 100% all-in on (a) this war specifically and (b) any other misadventure demanded by Israel.

I worked at the California DOJ for 7 years and can confidently state that every one of my colleagues took seriously their obligation to preserve the dignity of the office. The same with my present role.

If I had been that wrong as a normal lawyer, no one would trust me again and I’d be chasing ambulances.

Republican admins should be terminal to people whose jobs depend on their credibility but instead nope, no matter how wrong/dumb/bad-faith/naive their take, no matter how much being so very wrong would sink careers in any other field, these pundits and columnists all remain well-paid for being wrong

I called my rep @chu.house.gov three times this week to ask if she was going to move to censure these racist fucks or do more than post on Instagram and all three times they had no response.

A moment that should provide complete moral clarity and Dems can’t even find their feet.

I called @chu.house.gov and asked if she was going to condemn or introduce an impeachment resolution and all I got was blather and a total lack of moral conviction.

I asked all of @chu.house.gov’s staffers if she had any response to this fascism and all of them had no idea.

Filing articles of impeachment would be a start (yes, I know that starts in the House).

Holding up government business until Hegseth resigns.

Doing more than just posting into the ether.

But to also be clear, Dems won’t lift a finger or do a thing to hold these people accountable.

I've called @chu.house.gov every day this week about the awful Islamophobia coming from Republicans and none of her staffers had even the slightest response.

No "she's going to introduce a motion to censure these guys" or even "she thinks it's awful."
