The Trump administration has taken a series of actions that chip away at protections for unaccompanied children guaranteed under the William WilberforceTrafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act (TVPRA) of 2008. New proposed rules from the administration would require that kids onlyinteract with their lawyers for limited sessions on zoom, and get information about their rights via pre-recorded videos. On March 31st, video representation only for UACs (Unaccompanied Alien Children) will begin. The RFP for these new rules needs to be rescinded, revised and reissued before this date. Calling your representatives to revisit these rules and return to in person legal counsel is the ask.

A high school classmate of mine published this novel in 2008. He imagines NATO dissolved by the EU and Iran’s nuclear facilities destroyed by Israel. I won’t give the ending away except to say it definitely ain’t gonna happen like he imagines, but we could dream.

Stews are a good choice! He has bfast and lunch covered. He grows blueberries in the yard and has raisin bran/blueberries for bfast. He wants, and entertains no other options, for lunch, a “boxed meal.” (Frozen meal.)
