No, How about forcing the social networking companies to improve/enforce safety in their products for everyone, rather than banning under 16s.
My dog wakes me up at 3am with a quiet woof insisting on belly rubs.
I'm a man of a certain age, so a night time interlude is useful.
I'm waiting for the bus near Euston and the stink from those fossil fueled, war affected vehicles is horrible.
Roll on more people taking active travel and the necessary vehicles being EVs.
Large yellow markings across a road, with zig zags in front and a tree in the distance lit by evening sun.
The "dazzle ship" markings on the recently quietened Gordon Street near UCL.

PDF is such an annoying format
- it is wonderful in that authors can control the format
- but terrible that it doesn't have the stream of text available to format in more responsive ways
The recent Local Energy Plan had a html version.
And they've managed to keep the proportion of horrible hybrids low.
So a single solar panel produces about *100 times more useful energy* than a tank of petrol.
Solar panel imports will reduce OVERALL imports - because the value of diesel imports eclipses the value of solar panel impors.
A solar panel in Nigeria now costs just $60, and can repay the cost of diesel for a generator within 6 months - and even less in other countries.
This is hilarious.
Also, completely enraging.
I was at @pedalme.bsky.social for a while. I never got to take passengers, but delivering specialist food to multiple restaurants across London was fun.
Drive less to save fuel!
Using petrol or diesel to move yourself from a to b is the choice you want to avoid if you can.
Ask your local Councillor for better cycle lanes, cycle routes, speed limits and cycle parking so cycling becomes the better option.

The biggest terrorist in the world did this.
But they don't need to buy new, expensive, huge, gas guzzling vehicles.
Yet many Americans seem to "afford" massive car leasing costs.
Remember guys, you canβt afford a gas rig, or a coal mine, or a nuclear power station, but you can afford to put some cheap solar panels on your roof.
Thatβs why the fossil fuel industry has spent billions trying to kill renewable energy.
The dealer needs to keep you addicted.
@timleunig.bsky.social I think that you need to take a timeout and have a think about what you're saying.
You have a position of influence, and lots of qualified people are telling you that you're getting things wrong.
So get the Nimbys to stop complaining about building pylons. Where would we be now if none of the National Grid was built in the 60s and 70s?
This is the London Array, one of the worldβs largest offshore wind farms.
It generates enough electricity to power 584,000 British homes.
Only clean, renewable energy can deliver true British energy sovereignty and free us from the ruinous influence of the fossil fuel industry.
Indeed, why so many modifier keys?
Especially annoying is the globe key that mainly does one advertised function - the emoji keyboard.

The pavement parking review should at least have included the rights and revenue for councils to tow dangerously parked cars straight away.
Will Marshall the confounder is a good bloke. A 96 hour delay seems reasonable.

I'm glad that DRS has gone - that was always an artificial way to enable some overtaking.
A boost button that can be used almost anywhere, brings it back to a driver's racing decision making.
I've seen a lot of Wayve cars in North London (AV, but with a standby driver). What's doubly annoying is that the BBC aren't even mentioning this British company in their reporting.

Also Google search didn't find much for it's competitor (Wayve vs Waymo & Waze)
I hate the engineers who gave us these engine idling machines - it should have been possible for them to add a mode which provided ventilation, minimal heating and powered 12V sockets.
Good morning from the country

Day 1475 - weβre still hereπΊπ¦
I've witnessed parents parking on the zebra crossing at school pickup time at this school. Although I haven't been there since the Healthy School Streets was implemented.
