If you already created your account and got yourself into that mess, there is an easy way out:
1. Log into Bluesky with your newly created npmx.social account
2. Delete your account (your handle will be freed immediately after)
3. Start your migration again with the link posted above
4. Done!

Thanks @mia.pds.parakeet.at for the help with moving over to the @npmx.dev social! For everyone who wants to move, if you want the easy way - DON'T create a npmx.social account if you already have a Bluesky account. You end up with two different DIDs between which you cannot migrate afaik.

sounds great, did I understand correctly that you also moved your Bluesky data to the npmx PDS which is now in the EU? If so, is there a great tool to automate some of the manual steps I found in the AT and Bluesky docs? Or am I missing something here 😅🙈
