My mom went from "give him a chance, he's just a worker bee" to "I HATE this guy" after one interaction.

Some of the accusations just seemed a little disingenuous. Any fault from Palworld I'm fully fine with condemning though

It's just some of the accusations abt which pals and how that I feel seem ridiculous. Especially with how Pokemon legally locked down certain standard gameplay mechanics instead of focusing on suing design copies

I've seen some claims that were even like the big blue dinosaur pal was ripping off like 5 different pokemon while the electric version was ripping off entirely different pokemon or that an elemental animal pal as ripping off an elemental animal just because both are a specific animal but elemental

I don't think Anubis and Lucario look enough alike to claim Anubis is copying Lucario instead of both translating anubis the godinto a "fantastical cartoons buddy creature"

That's just Anubis. Anubis the pal looks more like Anubis the god than it looks like Lucario or than lucario looks like Anubis the god. Like they still have to take Anubis the God and translate that to "fantastical cartoony buddy creature"
