This should be a slam-dunk, business-wrecking class-action lawsuit. Grammarly has absolutely no defence here
It's one of the things with this whole horseshit technology that has been driving me nuts. It doesn't matter how the tech was "trained" or anything, you can't promote a chatBot puppet version of someone without their permission, people's likenesses and names are protected things
I really hope there is a huge lawsuit to put this issue to bed once and for all. It used to be common knowledge that you can't just use someone's name and likeness to promote your business without permission. When did we stop enforcing right of publicity? AI doesn't introduce any shades of gray here
