Today's first film for me is a rewatch of Tony Scott's 2009 film The Taking of Pelham 123. Starring John Travolta, Denzel Washington & James Gandolfini. Whilst I do love the original film...I do prefer the 2009 film as I love Tony Scott' filmmaking style..
This year I decided that I'd catch up on big movies over the years that I'd never seen.

I've only seen the first episode of the new Star Trek show. It's a very visually busy show! Still trying to decide in my head if I like it. Often the pilot episodes for shows can be a bit rough so I'll stick with it for a few episodes what's your thoughts on Star Trek Starfleet Academy so far

I'm a bit hit n miss when it comes to Spike Lee's films. Really enjoyed Highest 2 Lowest which I watched this afternoon. Denzel Washington is of course great in everything he stars in and I really lived how they filmed New York. Overall a great story too.

Thoughts on One Battle After Another?
I really liked it. Sean Penn is excellent ( as always) and overall this film was fun to spend time with reminded me of the same feel as No Country For Old Men.
Leo was Leo and yes the film in many ways felt like a 'caper movie' but I liked that about it.

My Lego Speed Champions DeLorean arrived today! It was fun little build and it can be the DeLorean from Part I or Part II. Though when I was doing the switch the OUTATIME number plate fell away and fell right into a gap in our floorboards. 😭😭😭
