I kinda wish I drew one big tongue on the right one because you can't really see the two small ones at first sight but whatever I'm done and will try again on another piece

over the whole month of january I drew one little creature every day. that's the result. tbh the last ones are really lacking any depth but it still was a neath experience. the ones one the left are my favorites out of all 44(?)

the jaw is ripped out and held in place by long flashy tendrils. They all seem to have originated from the brain which is infected with a giant tumor that lays open like an open wound. the infection spreads down its body, ripping itself through the wrinkled skin in search for food.

writing the lore and way a creature works oftentimes takes longer than the art itself, thats why im so slow even with easy looking pieces. but i think it really enhances the result if what you look at makes sense, seems not just like a wild string of random thoughts.
