Traditional measures have often been based on the experiences of the stereotypical idea of a straight, white, affluent girl This is not the case in reality! This study will assess how suitable these measures are for a marginalised population, to see if any changes are necessary Better measures means improved access to support To take part you MUST: Be 18+ years old Have an official diagnosis, or self-identify, as being neurodivergent OR having any disability – physical/mental/cognitive, etc. Not experience a severe learning disability, due to well-being concerns What does the study consist of? An online survey asking: Some demographic information - e.g. age, gender, sexuality, neurotype The frequency of thoughts & behavior relating to body image & eating Each of the bullet points are denoted by stars. Had a great time sharing my PhD poster at the Uni of York and York St John postgrad event yesterday. Got some really useful feedback, met some lovely people, and the speakers were all genuinely brilliant. Big thanks to everyone who made it such a good day!
