As I approached, the cat moved away and a robin emerged from the bush and started following it. Obviously it thought its fierce chirping had scared the beast away, so it was hopping from post to post, continuing to cuss the cat out, making sure it got its point across.

As I was leaving the allotments yesterday there was a cat standing on top of someone's compost bin and in the bush next to him an absolutely furious tweeting noise like a dial-up modem.

I am no longer the father of a teenager. This thought is going to take some getting used to.
