I'm having trouble applying theming to my app icon. Android Studio shows it working, but it doesn't work on an emulator or my physical device. Am I doing something wrong?
Any thoughts?

The idea of a functional digital household requiring total brand fealty is a marketing trap. Apple builds walls for conformity, while Android's hardware diversity is a feature.
You don't need everyone on a Pixel for family coordination, as cross-platform standards already bridge the gap.
Yea, and to think, Apple Intelligence is what got me the most excited about AI but Gemini is actually executing.
Agentic Gemini or "Getting stuff done" with Gemini on my Pixel is huge.

Does anyone know where I can get the transparent frames for all of the past Pixel phones?
I went with 128gb for the most drastic experience. We'll see if I actually need 256gb or more. I'm starting to doubt it but we'll see.
I'm embarking on my own personal hypothesis experiment: "I don't need a flagship smartphone."
To test this, I've purchased the Pixel 10a and plan to use it exclusively for an extended period to see if I truly don't need a flagship smartphone.
It's the Bold Utility one
Have you noticed this?
When I was watching a show on YouTube, I was prompted to be able to switch between audio and video for this same show on YouTube Music.
I believe this feature in YouTube Music has been available since its launch, but it's nice showing this to people on YouTube as well.
Yea, I think the tech community would find it odd, but I do think the base model and e-series are the scalers
For AI devices that are both useful and unobtrusive, I'd say the Pixel Watch 4 and Meta RayBans are currently the top contenders.
Yea same. My guess would be the base model/cheaper iPhone

Meta/Facebook has had an interested run of hardware products but they've certainly hit their stride with the Meta Ray-Bans.
Mark Zuckerberg is officially coming for the Apple Watch.

The most sensible and responsible course of action
Apple needs to hurry up with glasses, as Google is partnering with Warby Parker, Samsung with Galaxy glasses, and Meta with Ray-Bans.
I know this because my own mama told me she wants a pair of Meta Ray-Bans after seeing one of her friends with a pair.
Nano Banana π in Google Messages is such a fun product. Moreso because it's so fast and all of it happens on-device on the Pixel 10 Pro. No need to go into any server or anything.
When your favorite TV characters use @GooglePixel devices, it's rarely by chance.
Google's Adrienne Lofton on LinkedIn explains that integrating Pixel into Netflix and HBO hits is a calculated move to make products feel natural and build strong cultural recall.

Picked these up to replace my Moto Tags.
I've realized that I prefer easy charging (these charge via USB-C) instead using CR2032 batteries, over UWB.
My Pixel 10 Pro supports UWB, but it's kind of useless when alert sounds provide the better day-to-day experience for me.
