As someone who went on the Internet for the first time in the early 90’s, I fucking loved the Internet. It has given so many things in life, and afforded me so many incredible experiences.

And to see it, and technology in general where they are today is kinda soul crushing.

The one personal thing that I hold against Trump most of all is that he's forced me to feel this way about another human being.

I know he does far worse on a daily basis, but this degradation is the most personal and I cannot forgive him.

I used to track my symptoms religiously for a few years until I realized doing so was having a negative impact on my mental health. Now, I only track specific symptoms if I suspect there has been a shift in my usual patterns, as opposed to obsessively logging every symptom every day.

Also, the "electric shocks" she describes in the first paragraph of chapter one matches what I call my "Lightning Hands" symptom. It was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak, and started me on my journey to a diagnosis of fibromyalgia and CFS.
