I would suggest a bill that limits survivors’ benefits to only soldiers who die in a congressional authorized war. The six (or more) that died so far don’t deserve that money for following illegal orders and betraying their country.
We need to cut survivors’ benefits. If they know their families won’t be paid for their mistakes, maybe they’ll be less likely to follow these illegal orders.
Make it a law that survivors benefits are only available after Congress declares war and see how fast the bombs stop.
If Congress hasn’t declared war, dead soldiers shouldn’t get survivors benefits.
