Having some skincare trouble and I just don’t know what to do. My face has never broken out this much and I don’t like the hyperpigmentation. I’m used to maybe one or two here and there, it’s been like 3-4 per week. Sigh just had to vent this somewhere lol. 🥲

Watching people “wake up” to state violence right now is… sobering.
For Black Americans, this isn’t new. The system didn’t suddenly change; it stayed consistent. Slavery was reformed into Black Codes, Jim Crow, surveillance, mass incarceration, and modern policing.

Has your government or societal norm pushed you into a direction to not trust your own intuition or feelings to where now you feel numb or unable to express them appropriately?

•Be myself regardless of perception

I heard this guy say that ruminating and intellectualizing the ‘why’ from a hurt can also keep you stuck in an unhealthy loop. It too doesn’t give your nervous system the space to feel safe.
The grief felt from relationships ending also needs a place to go. One way to get it to live outside your body is to journal the sensation you feel.
Would we want things to be how they were? Or would be want things to be evolved?
