On snaps 4-5-6 for him they chipped him. On the sixth snap he ran the RT out of the ball park again and forced Baker to throw a back foot prayer.
He can rush the passer. And he's all effort setting the edge, he just loses battles to bigger/more powerful guys. He's 240, situational rusher type.

I keep reading stuff about how grounded Malik Willis is - he didn't talk about his start against the Titans as some sort of revenge. Rather, he thanked them for giving him his start. He didn't whine about not getting time at Auburn.

I'm with you. One of the weirdest parts of a weird 2025 was Malik being used exactly like I thought he would be all year in that PS opener in Chicago, and again in the BAL game, then the rest of the year having him run verticals lol. A 4.6 guy, taking the top off. Insane.

And I think Hafley could do more with less than what the offense could. So keep surrounding your (IMO) franchise-altering QB with premium resources and let Haf fill up his side with hand-picked gems to complement Brooks, KG, Jordan, hopefully Chop/Marshall/Brents/Trader.
Now, with the QB, you can start to think about how you want to shape this offense. To me, Miami has stalwart solutions at:
QB, WR1, RB, LT, C, and I still think Jonah is gonna be a plus starter, so one G.
The 2027 class is loaded at WR. You could drop a blue chip OL or TE in at 11 this year.

We haven't even begun to talk about how a QB with 4.4 speed does to this run game, which was pretty damn good in 2025. Backside defenders, get ready to learn zone read keeper.
I really like Jordan Love, too! Some of this goes back to how I felt about Malik coming out of Liberty - he's already a top five QB in terms of pure physical gifts. Can't name five better arms or better athletes. Then we saw him show proof of concept playing the position last year. He's him.
He's making half of the going rate for franchise QBs - not too bad
I would've agreed had Willis not emerged as the player we saw in his appearances this year - he changed the landscape of the QB market, IMO.
And tbh, fuck tanking. Now we get to watch a young, gritty team go through some shit with their QB and they'll come out in 2027 so much better for it.
