The hard-hitting campaigns – ‘Priority List’ and ‘Control or Speed’ – address two of the main causes of deaths and serious injuries on our roads – speeding and, more generally, driver behaviour.

Almost 4,000 primary school pupils received Cycling Proficiency training in 2025. DfI recently launched Cycling Proficiency 2026 and has invited all primary schools to participate in this year’s scheme.
