A table from the Electricity Maps 2025 grid review for Denmark listing how each energy source contributed to production and consumption in 2024 and 2025. Wind is still the largest energy source for Denmark, at 58.7% of production for 2025, a slight decrease from 2024. Solar production was up 2.6 percentage points in 2025, and coal was down 2 percentage points.

Solar production increased year-over-year from 2024 to 2025 in Denmark, and coal production was down, also contributing to lower carbon intensity.
