D.C. United head coach René Weiler said the referee told him and Chicago Fire manager Gregg Berhalter that the stoppage was due to "something negative said from the stands."

He said he told the head official that “we don’t have to stop" and "don’t give it the power and the scene." #DCU

DCU coach René Weiler confirms that tonight's match was stopped due to language directed at Tai Baribo from the stands.

Absolutely none of these details got to the English-language broadcast. Basically acted puzzled then moved on.

Last year it took DC United until the 9th game and the middle of April to get their second win. This year the Black and Red managed to get their in March in their 4th game.

Hopkins cross it in, Chicago keeper punches it right to Baribo, not enough on it. No dice. DCU puts pressure on Chicago but a bad call makes it a goal kick instead of a corner.

Pretty wide open first 10 minutes. DC United dodged a good chance for Chicago there.

I will say this every week. Make the away broadcast available for all matches. Don't make me listen to the weird ramblings of the Apple team.
