one of the immediate reasons women able to work outside the home is not because men just decided to be better (tho that played a role), it's because of automated factories that produce birth control, washing machines and dryers that clean our clothes and gas stoves that cook our food.
the significantly better battery life is so worth it imo. (though, ironically i am saying this while in the process of RMA-ing mine for a dead battery)

kinda dislike the term "nsfw", but it's nice how it admits this is a practical distinction ("this would make the average person uncomfortable; you would get in trouble for showing this in public") rather than categorizing it as "sexual" etc. (which i don't believe is meaningful for art)

i do, however, expect people like that to *not* call for my death. that is what i'm critiquing in this thread, that people wish me and others dead a lot and i think they're huge assholes for it. i'm perfectly happy to be friendly with them, if they do not do that. that's my point.
i've read plenty of messages from others who both actively and passively seriously think that me or people like me should die... where "people like me" can mean as little as "watches the wrong cartoon porn." i have zero intention to be friendly to those people, i don't expect anyone else to.
well if they're shitty of course, of course. the point of my thread isn't for everyone to think more deeply about who they consider shitty or not, not at all. i'm just telling you to be nice to shitty people for some reason.
again, i can't believe i have to say that someone saying "i want you and everyone like you to die" in your face should definitely be considered a safety concern. i sure as hell would consider it that...
and it's pretty obvious why you can't just "agree to disagree" with someone who's actively bigoted against you... that's a safety concern and at the bare minimum they're going to be very unpleasant to be around.
