This international campaign commemorates the anniversary of the Tibetan uprising against Chinese occupation. Its aim is to highlight human rights violations and symbolically express solidarity with Tibet.

Today she serves in ministry while also continuing her doctoral studies, focusing on themes of faith, society, and dialogue. Thanks in part to her efforts, the Evangelical Church has partially reconsidered its approach to the LGBTQ+ community.
🌸 International Women’s Day is an opportunity to highlight inspiring women whose determination and work enrich both academic and public life.
One of them is Eliška Vaňcová, a graduate of the Faculty of Protestant Theology at CU. Since childhood, she knew she wanted to become a pastor.
During the weekend, the space will be open from 10 AM to 5 PM, and on weekdays from 9 AM to 5 PM.
The public can pay their respects to the memory of the emeritus rector of Charles University, Professor Karel Malý, by signing the book of condolences placed on the ground floor of the Carolinum at the entrance to the Imperial Hall (Ovocný trh 560/5, Prague 1, 116 36).

🩷 More than 300 million people worldwide live with a rare disease. The journey to diagnosis is often complex and lengthy. In the European Union, it takes an average of five years. Treatment options are limited and support is insufficient.

Marek Müller from the Faculty of CU SPORT (35th place in giant slalom),
Diana Cholenská and Adéla Měrková from CU SPORT (24th and 25th place in freestyle skiing).
🤩 A student of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Charles University, Metoděj Jílek, won one of the speed skating events at his Olympic debut and claimed silver in another. A silver medal was also won by Eva Adamczyková, a graduate of the same faculty.
❄️ The Winter Olympic Games in Italy are behind us, and the Czech team brought home five medals. Three of them are directly connected to Charles University.
We congratulate everyone who took part in the Games and thank you for representing not only the Czech Republic, but also CU so brilliantly. 👏

Metoděj, a student of CU SPORT, won gold and is rewriting Czech sports history. At 19 years and 8 months, he is the youngest Winter Olympic medalist in the history of the Czech Republic.
