That’s why it’s even more dreadful that he ignored the vetting advice & insisted on putting a friend of Epstein in the most important Ambassadorial role in the World for the UK. They also removed the excellent Ambassador who was a Woman, to put a man without her skills into the role.

We had an excellent Ambassador in place in the US, whose career was the diplomatic service. They removed her & Starmer appears to have chosen to ignore the sage advice not to put Mandelson in the role due to his friendship with Epstein.

What did Mandelson have over Starmer?

Because Mandelson looked like an arrogant self serving pr*ck many years ago. Why was he fast tracked into this position when we had an excellent Ambassador already in place.

How is he not facing the prospect of prison? Selling secret information?
