Finally finished writing the first part of The Black Soul! (Only first draft.) Genuinly proud of some parts and look forward to my sister and aunt's reaction. Might have to finish the next chapter tho before they come to kill me because of the cliffhanger...

Indie authors are largely poor and struggling and we rely on the income we get from our books. Don’t include indie books in your boycott, please. It directly hurts struggling creatives who are faced with corporations, an impossible industry and rising living costs alongside falling royalty returns.
I have been trying to publish my book on Ingramspark to branch out but they are still processing my account... for about 10 days now when they state it should only take 3-5 days! I have contacted them but I hope the rest of the process goes smoother...

Thread re the discussion about authors who are exclusively on Amazon: 1) sometimes they have very good reasons for that. 2) Also, it can be overwhelming to think about moving to other platforms. One thing Amazon does well is make it very easy to publish. Remember that most indie authors... 1/?
