In an unexpected twist, I can get a new 15" M5 MacBook Air with 8 GB more RAM and the same 1 TB SSD for less than what I paid for my current M2 Air.

Federal agents hiding behind masks contributes to abuses. It signals no accountability. It lets agents know they can act as a nameless, faceless, camouflaged, armed abuser and nobody will know who did it. It is antithetical to everything this liberty loving country stands for.
