I struggle to understand my emotions pretty often. And i think my big focus on technique was a way for me to ignore that.

For years i stressed over making my art ✨️neat✨️ and somewhat detailed.

Nowadays, i just want art that makes me feel something- even if its not "technically good."

Growing up, i was called cringe for being goth. And the same person who called me that is now a self proclaimed "big titty goth gf."

The concept of cringe has no place in goth/alt spaces. It just goes against the core of goth culture: expressing yourself however you want, even if it weirds ppl out.
