Measuring impact, and why design matters I started my career in data almost thirteen years ago, switching from the education sector to the Open Data Institute (ODI) in 2013. At the time, I was working with data mostly through tools like Google Analytics, a far narrower view than the one I have today.

Today, Jill led a fascinating session on the science behind how our brains learn to read. We now know that if your content can’t be understood by a 10‑year‑old, it’s not good enough! Clear, accessible writing isn’t “dumbing down”, it’s making government work for everyone

A few months ago we signed up to the Mental Health Commitment, and it’s been a catalyst for some really valuable conversations at Register Dynamics like our annual leave policy. Doing this type of reflection we hope will improve mental health across the team.
