I'm curious if/how this episode will factor into the response from ABCD:

All the time in the world to raise money for Democratic politicians, but none for the residents of his state who are being forced out of their homes by federal occupation and state-level indifference. Dude could have had a powerful legacy but chose this.
the world when every time you purchase something you have to make eye contact with a (unionized) cashier and verbally confirm that you found everything OK and they ask you for your ID to buy a case of beer and you make a little joke about how you look like a vampire in your DL picture
My correct and righteous and transcendent take: self-checkout lines are a festering wound of late capitalism and should be abolished

The one thing I've learned from 2026 so far:
America has SO MUCH WEALTH, and I'm not talking about money here.
I'm talking about people. Beautiful people. People who will stand for you, with you, wherever you're from, against the evil we all face in this American moment.
Beauty is what we build.

Cartoon titled "know the work rules". The first panel, labeled "appropriate" depicts Garfield the cat in a business suit leaning around the edge of a cubicle and pointing to a woman at her desk while saying, "coffee lasagna Mondays am I right?" to which the woman responds, hands clasped together, "awww you're so funny" The second panel, labeled "inappropriate", depicts a far side cow leaning around the edge of the same cubicle and speaking with a word bubble which contains only the shapes of the 4 cow tools. The woman fearfully picks up the Phone and says, "hello , complaint department??!"

US troops fired on protesters storming consulate in Karachi: Report The Reuters news agency is reporting that US Marines opened fire on Pakistani protesters during the storming of the Karachi consulate over the weekend. The agency cited two US officials and its report marks the first confirmation that Marines were involved in firing at the protestors. The officials told Reuters that it was unclear whether the rounds fired by Marines struck or killed anyone. They also did not know whether shots were also fired by others protecting the mission, including private security guards and local police. At least 10 people were killed during the protest, when demonstrators breached the compoundβs outer wall.
