So we voted today. It was quick. My wife was impressed with the whole process compared to what she's experienced her whole life in the US. A testament to what Elections Canada does. We were in & out in about 10 min in a busy polling station. Take the time & vote! It matters!

Misinformation is already circulating about missing voter cards, so PSA, you don't need one. If you're a Canadian citizen and 18+, take your photo ID (license, passport...) to a polling station in your area and they'll help you with the rest. Excellent research into the misinformation swirling about by @rachelgilmore.bsky.social I find it disheartening, however, that there is a lack of basic journalistic skills by well known papers like the G&M. I expect lack of fact checking in social media but regular media??

I cannot believe this happened. When I first joined bsky, @rachelgilmore.bsky.social was one of the first CDNs I came across that provided excellent & well-researched insight into politics. @ctvnews-rss.bsky.social should be ashamed at bowing down to those that promote disinformation. #Canada
