The defining feature of this war thus far is that the US and our allies have basically zero appetite for sacrifice or casualties or friction or attrition because, (and I cannot emphasize this enough), this was not a war that anybody actually believed we needed to fight.

Jen's getting at something bigger here – a feature of Trump's character. He assumes nearly all precedent exists because those who preceded him were idiots. He does not (cannot?) imagine that sometimes things are the way they are for good reason. That personality defect is a national security threat.

Not an answer to the question, but I'll admit it took me a few seasons to realize Wheeler from Captain Planet was a douchebag, if an honorable one in the end.
