But this gives me an excuse to reshare possibly my favourite ever photo of me with a famous person... totally lost in the moment of the pure joy a kind soul can bring.
See you very soon, AP! xx

Used to be in the arts. Spend all my money on supporting artists. Autistic post too much. Ahmdilldahndin. Pansexual They/Them Lupar BearDogThing. ππΆ ππ€ππ€ PS. I follow back if folk interact and are nice.

It's been an Arlo week, hasn't it? Loving the new sounds... two new songs in the last five days! Hyped for the new album. Very hyped to finally see her live again after having to miss the last Manchester show due to a schedule clash.
Thanks. I don't think 99% of it is on purpose. People just flippantly use whatever standard terms they understand. Strangers I can just about accept, but friends? That is where it is difficult.
It strikes me how conditioned we have become to wanting that fix.
I'm not immune to it. When Instagram stopped people with under 1,000 followers going live on stories, I very nearly started pushing to get followers so I could have a feature I used back. Had to stop myself being THAT PERSON.
I have genuinely given up on expecting non-binary language for me. Even after putting pro-nouns in my username people STILL use male-gendered terms cos I "look" like a dude.
And that isn't a slight on Christel fwiw. I think she's fab at what she does. But I do sense this whole vibe of a new chosen family trying to take the reigns of fandom in the hope they get the overall keys to the kingdom one day.
And for some reason, that is still so focused around "DWTwitter".
In our own community there are some quite prominent 'content creators' / trendsetters who have ditched BlueSky and headed back to Twitter.
That has led a huge pocket of Whovians to just stay put, cos sadly I think there *IS* a cult of people who think THEY can be the next Christel Dee.
This. 100% this. I've see a lot of people heading back over there, and I think it points to a general sense that engagement on BlueSky is overall much lower. People miss putting out something and getting BIG responses, so they are convincing themselves Twitter is still better.
Trying on winter layers in preparation for a trip soon. Accidentally turned into a trucker.

Iβve said it before and Iβll say it again: Replace the word βSPAMβ with βAIβ in the iconic Monty Python sketch and it describes today succinctly.
L-R: Barryfromeastenders (Barryfromeastenders), Grant Mitchell (Ross Kemp) and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden)
What my cat sees when I step barefoot on the gravy chunk he's dropped on the floor from his bowl.
Spoke too soon - just arrived out of the blue.
Now if only they could do the same with Season 13... the one with the actually unwatchable episodes.
Did you get a reply to your email? I never did... and no replacement copy either.
If I gain three more followers on BlueSky everything I say will be temporarily accompanied by slightly out of sync text boxes of what I'm saying, but there will be wird spelling mistaks and missing every once in a while.
A quiet period for me socially, but life is insanely busy all the same. Soon it will be all go for a few months. Bring it on.
Big love to everyone who matters to me. Especially those who support me when I'm being a pain in the arse. xx
Recovering from a bit of a dark patch physically and mentally. Slowly stepping back into the light again. These blips will happen, particularly as I prefer to be unmedicated for my MH conditions as the alternative is to be numb to everything.
Fully accurate. Along with "This is an entry level post. You must have at least 2 years experience doing this work to qualify. Salary Β£22,000 p.a."
Then again, due to the materials involved in it, it was never washed, despite being worn to 8 shows, an after party and three Halloweens before being sealed up almost 16 years ago. I bet it reeks now... π
Just realised that come October there will be adults alive on earth who weren't born when I made my Crack Fox costume.
Maybe I should open the vacuum bag to commemorate the moment this Autumn.
PS. If somebody with more time and graph-making skills than I would like to compare how many hours of TV/Cinema each franchise has made over the last 60+ years I'd love to see a like for like!
Maybe one day I'll go there...
Ultimately, I think, Doctor Who needs a streaming partner who can deliver what Star Trek is able to deliver: Regular, dependable episodes which push the boundaries of what the format is supposed to be, and offer different flavours for a broad demographic.
The Whoniverse, but it actually works.
It is telling the difference between the fortunes of Paramount and the BBC that, while Doctor Who now struggles to offer double digits of episodes in its vast and expansive universe every year, recent years have seen an average of 30 instalments of Star Trek being released, give or take.
Years without TV or Cinema Trek Production:
1970
1971
1972
1975
1976
1977
1978
1980
1981
1983
1985
2006
2007
2008
2010
2011
2012
2014
2015
2016
That means 40 out of the last 60 years had something new to watch. Most of those upwards of 20 episodes to enjoy, too, right up to the present day.
The weird thing about Star Trek is, despite its stop-start history of production, it's never been away from screens for more than 4 years since it began 60 years ago.
Thanks to the movies appearing at regular intervals when the TV series were rested, it's just sort of always still been around.
Screenshot of Independent article headline and by-headline. Uk's free museums are in trouble. Should tourists start paying? Visitors to London's galleries and museums can see some of the finest artworks in the world without paying a penny - but for how much longer? Annabel Nugent explores the fraught debate about who should foot the bill for keeping them free of charge.
How about we tax the fucking billionaires and millionaires, @the-independent.com? And finally reinvest in the arts after decades of cuts straining resources to the max?
The fact your article argues for being grateful to rich people for donations (dodges) instead of taxing them is vomit inducing.
Not a fan of Rory losing a mouse under the bedroom wardrobe at 6am.
Ps. The fact I already can think of 25 more and then some I could have included speaks volumes. I will just have to keep platforming all year round.
Anyone love me enough to buy me this?

Today is International Women's Day and given the state of the world right now I think we need to celebrate women more than ever.
I've always had female role models. Here are just a selection who have my undying respect and admiration for what they did, do, and/or still will. There's more.
