My wife has inspired me as a Baptist woman! She graduated with a Dmin from Southern before the hostile takeover. She never let a Baptist denom restrict her. She has been an amazing minister, hospice chaplain and campus minister (another Loop Hole)!
She has taught me so much about life in Christ!

Preach? This seems to be part of the problem. Only ordained pastors can “preach”? Preach the good news of Jesus? Seems like it was a women at an empty tomb who saw and then preached about a Resurrected Jesus
For over 25 years, Southern Baptists have banned women pastors. That hasn’t stopped churches from having women serve in that role.
Recently, an Alaska church with a woman pastor was booted from the SBC; yet a South Carolina church with a woman preacher was not.
