Ossoff: "The WH put out a video depicting this war as a video game. When service members are returning in flag-draped coffins, & even more have lost limbs or suffered brain injuries or are fighting for their lives, this WH treats war like a game. It's a disgrace. And it speaks to a moral rot."

Professors will recognize this kid as the student who didn't do the reading but still has very strong opinions about how it's all "bullshit," except this time he's not the callow student who's going to fail your course, he's the reviewer who's going to cancel your grant.
Do you pay by a meter for the knowledge you used to train your machine?
Diesel prices are going to hit hardest. It’s possible to save money personally by driving less, carpooling, etc.
Trucking, trains, and ships all use diesel. It’s an added cost down the entire line. Diesel has gone up nearly a $1 in two weeks.
Anything you buy generally gets to you by
And then another group bundled these mortgages together and sold them as mortgage backed securities so they could make more questionable mortgages.
Another group of people (AIG) decided to insure these questionable MBS.
The market collapsed. Pressure came from more than one direction.
Trump law-lackey/Dep. AG, Todd Blanche, quietly rescinded a Biden-era DOJ policy requiring approval for “no-knock” searches of homes that was implemented after Breonna Taylor's murder.
My take on why this decision will lead to more deaths at the hands of law enforcement.

He basically says "It's OK that uninformed 20-year-olds who never applied for a grant or reviewed one were making the decisions to cancel these outright, you see, because we read books."
The lawyer asks: "Which books?"
"Oh, there were no books."
This is Nathan Cavanaugh, another DOGE staffer explaining how he flagged grants at NEH for "DEI" which would be reviewed for termination. 404 Media has reviewed hours of this footage and we'll have more soon.

The kicker here is 🤌.
When pressed as to why he, a 20-something with no experience in scholarly peer review or grant making, is qualified to summarily cancel fed gov't "DEI" contracts, he says a person who reads books & has life experience knows enough.
Oh really, which books?
"There were no books."
Used to be, lethal capacity was mentioned second - but not necessarily in an offensive capacity. Just a defender of freedoms.
I’ve noticed that too. He still walks into it and says the nasty retorts, but the journalist asked a question, followed it up with evidence from his own administration, follows up again and asks for the new evidence, then he’s left looking like a child calling names because he doesn’t have any facts
I may be wrong, but it feels to me like reporters are giving Trump a lot more "Yeah, no, that's bullshit" responses now than they did just a few months ago.
As I was saying:
The only person Trump never threatens or criticizes is Putin. Ever.
...when, in short, a people become an audience and their public business a vaudeville act, then a nation finds itself at risk; a culture-death is a clear possibility.”

"Discomfort serves as a moral and strategic guardrail. Leaders who feel the weight of ordering teenagers toward hardship, injury, and death are more likely to ask the necessary hard questions."
NEW: Pardon seekers are routinely being asked to pay $1m+ to lobbyists & lawyers claiming access to Trump, often with bonuses if clemency is granted.
I investigated the Trump Pardon Industrial Complex, & detailed the backstory behind 1 interesting pardon.

after absolutely eviscerating Kristi Noem and calling for her resignation, Tillis is applauded. He thens threatens to hold up nominees if she doesn't stop stonewalling him. My God.
Information = content + cost + source.
Can't evaluate information without all three. Which is why you—a smart person, I'm sure—would never reskeet something without knowing where it came from (source) and why it appeared in your timeline (cost). Right?
These charges were not similar. Peters literally stole an innocent person’s identity and used it to illegally access systems protected by state law. And she remains unrepentant to this day.
