It's sparking a lot of joy! The backlight is really a combo of hardware (mouse/keyboard/speakers) with RGB; I added some cheap warm LED lights from HomeGoods to parts of my hutch for more sparkle. I'd attach a pic but media picker keeps crashing on my phone and my desktop is in pieces right now 😭

Anyway this is a bit of a thread to say I turned 41 and suddenly all I want to do now is decorate my house lol. Almost done with my cave, then on to the rest 😅 Will share pics of my room when the computer rig is done!

I have some new computer parts coming next week that will really take my rig up a gamer level and add to the teal backlight thing I have going on my desk, and I have other plans to add a wood top to my cubby shelf and paint other shelfs/replace hardware to tie them in to the overall theme.

Other colors are white/cream, gray, and a bit of pink, with my desk being kind of a muted aged wood color. The style kind of has some competing themes (cozy, nerdy, gamer) but I like how it's turning out.

I've been working in bits and pieces on achieving my ideal decor for my girl cave ('office' does not sound right) and I think now it is all coming together around the color teal, due to the color of some cubby boxes I bought several years ago 😂
