We did this full project in C++ with SDL and it ended up being very fun to work within the limitations of not having a full-blown engine. I am very happy with how it turned out! ✨

That is a good chunk of Europe, very cool! Everyone I know from Poland is cool so I definitely want to visit some day! Denmark is probably one of the easiest countries to get to from where I'm at (Stockholm) so I'm expecting I'll probably just end up there by coincidence some day! 😂

With the current situation of the industry, I feel like it's going to become even worse with money pulling out and publishers focused more on safe bets.
Good article! Though love the irony that the article referenced talking about the precarious financial situation for queer indie developers is pay walled 😅 Still, it is interesting to see a phenomenon I've seen with my own eyes in the industry pop up in academia.
