Worked in bars and night clubs for 10 yrs. Driving home a road dual carriageway - terrifying seeing drunk drivers weave, every night. never police on that stretch. One night a car was stopped dead no lights, on my lane, driver pissing on other lane, still have flashbacks about what could’ve happened
To be fair, he looks back now and respects their decision (we’ve both moved home and he deals with road traffic accidents here constantly)
I used to have about 1-2 breath tests a month of a Saturday and Sunday morning when driving in Sydney. Their speed limits are enforced with camera with huge fines. A friend of mine is an A&E dr, he was called in one night and went past a school at 3am @ 50km - they wouldn’t waive his fine on appeal
