They diagnose cancers while still treatable. They help women decide what birth control works for them. They help those working through mental health challenges.
 
Defunding them just harms people who already struggle to find places to get care.

Dude, it's already yours. Who is letting the Walmarts of the world underpay so people need SNAP and Medicaid in the 1st place? Who changed the no-profit rule for Healthcare? Who passed all those rich people tax codes already in place?

When it explodes, people like you who are true experts will be able to write your own ticket. Not the greatest of comforts, though.

It happens we'll be.on vacation in MI with our children and grandchildren. I feel badly because this will be the 1st big protest I miss. But last week reminded me forcefully that I need to treasure my loved ones while I can.

No, atheists don't really care. We aren't obsessed with anybody's sex life. That's Christians you're thinking of.

I also apply this to charities. I am retired now, and I have chosen several that get a monthly gift, plus a couple that get my time as well. There are many more deserving organizations, but I do not have the resources to support them all.

Many of the people on Medicaid (and getting SNAP support) HAVE jobs. Their employers don't offer benefits and don't pay them well enough to get by. We taxpayers have been subsiding those corporate assholes for decades.
