Children often love a little responsibility. Helping out with simple jobs at home can really support skills in the classroom – problem-solving, behaviour and cooperation. Incorporating talking and listening games within household tasks can make them feel like less of a chore!

• Without joint DfE–DHSC planning, shortages of speech and language therapists will persist
