Got my hands on the smallest film SLR: the Pentax Auto 110! Also, worked on reloading some 110 cartridges with first FPP BW Double8 film, then more Structrix D7 cut-offs. #believeinfilm #16mm #110film #photography

Turns out the little extra strip I get when I cut down the 4.5x10 X-Ray film for 4X5 fits in the Minolta 16 and is sharp enough to get a bit of detail even at that small size. #believeinfilm #spycamera #16mm #film #photography #dog

Testing out my new Peak Design tripod! It's the first new-ish tripod I've ever had and it's so compact and it'll hold the graflex!

Lovely shot! Judging by the reds, Iβd say UltraMax

Repaired the shutter on my thrifted Ricohflex VI! A simple mechanism powered entirely by spring tension and the weight of the two shutter leafs (leaves?). If you have a Ricohflex with the Riken shutter (B, 1/25, 1/50, 1/100), store it at 1/25 to keep the second spring tension off. #believeinfilm
Just took my Richoflex VI apart and can confirm there are no detents! The shutter is super simple and relies entirely on the weight of the shutter leafs and two springs for all its speeds. Hot tip: store it at 1/25 otherwise the second spring is tensioned even when the shutter isnβt cocked.

Snagged some Structurix D7 structural inspection X-Ray film off of ebay. D7 is advertised as "High Speed" but some testing seems to indicate for normal photographic purposes it sits at 3 ISO. #believeinfilm #experimental #photography #analogue #largeformat #xray #dog

For 4x5 I shoot mostly 8x10 X-ray film from eBay that I cut down which is like $0.15 per shot USD. For 120, Iβve shot a lot of kentmere 400 from FPP which was $4.99/roll, I just bought a bulk roll of 500T in 65mm for color $3ish/roll. For 35mm I bulk roll Kentmere 400, and 500T (short ends), $3.

Testing out an old-timey style of flash operation since my Graflex lost its ability to do flash sync with the curtain shutter at some point. I stop the lens way down, open the shutter, fire the flash manually, then close the shutter. #believeinfilm #largeformat #doggo #photography
Iβve heard itβs ultramax but donβt really have anything definitive on that point. As far as color 120, I think itβs pretty nice!
Well done! The first loading is always nerve-wracking! If you want something easier (and cheaper) you can get X-Ray film off of eBay and load it under a red safe light.

Found a working Minolta Maxxum 400si at the thrift store with a bunch of MotoPhoto 200 film expired in 2001. I'm not sure what the actual stock is but I really like the colors I'm getting from it. All shot at ISO 50. #believeinfilm #filmisnotdead #thriftfind #colorphoto #photography

Bought some 500T 65mm film, slit it down, and rolled onto a 620 spool to try in my Duaflex III. I just love this emulsion and shooting it at medium format removes a lot of the grain. #believeinfilm #IMAXFilm #mediumformat #photography
Ah! Neat! Thanks!
So lovely! Where did you get your 70mm film? and how did you get it down to 61.5mm to fit in your camera? So interested in this myself
